Re: 2012 Presidential Election
I'd bet Obama. I don't follow the polls or anything, and I do hear they're neck and neck but for some reason I seem to catch more buzz about the current Prez, just makes me think he'll have a slightly larger voter turnout.

Obama likely has the black vote sealed like last time.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election
He got 8 million votes from the black community in the previous election. I haven't personally noticed -drastic- or overt change, so I'm thinking that might drop slightly. Not that those lost numbers will go to Romney, but they'll probably just go back to political inactivity.

No idea. No third party is going to win though so I figure "why google it?"

Re: 2012 Presidential Election
The news seems to lean towards Obama being the victor, however what I've read online shows a different story with most people saying Romney will pull ahead and that Obama lost both debates with Ryan beating Biden in the vp debate.
Personally going to vote for Romney though.

Voting for obama. He's got an ad that has morgan freeman talking in it, so there's no real contest for me.

Ryan got his shit wrecked, I'm not sure what VP debate you watched. If in any way he was considered the 'victor' of that debate it was because the bitch hosting it was insanely biased towards him.guardianangel1911 wrote:The news seems to lean towards Obama being the victor, however what I've read online shows a different story with most people saying Romney will pull ahead and that Obama lost both debates with Ryan beating Biden in the vp debate.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election
I said people online were saying it.
And also how did Obama get Morgan Freeman to do an add when Morgan Freeman is one of the people saying he's not the first black president?

Don't ask me, I just saw the ad and smiled.
Also, people on the internet usually have their faces in horse shit. For future reference.

Eh, I take everything with a grain of salt. Course that runs both ways since most news media nowadays is highly liberal, or at least American news anyway.

Even if freeman wasn't endorsing obama, I'd vote for him over the social darwinist pig running against him.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election
look up what the Indefinite Detention Bill was, Obama passed it. The Supreme Court recently altered it but, basically it gave the government to take anyone into custody with no evidence, no trial and keep them locked up as long as the government felt like it, and I do mean anyone. Again though the Supreme Court altered it now so should be good.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election
I can see situations where that would be a good thing to have, but it is pretty much bullshit. As long as it isn't over abused, it could be helpful.guardianangel1911 wrote:look up what the Indefinite Detention Bill was, Obama passed it. @B.A.R.D
Yeah, it can be useful, the problem was it eerily had the words american citizens included under people that could be snatched up. Luckily the Supreme Court woke up and said "Wait why does this say American Citizens?" and took it out. Now they can only do it to random civilians of other countries.
@Teal
if I had to guess Romney. Considering Obama is a democrat.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election
Well Obama "allowed" or gave the go-ahead to cap Osama and that pirate so I was just wondering. But if I voted, and I don't, but if I did I'm thinking I'll go with whoever's more death penalty-y. Also possibly whoever's richer.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election
Obama had to cap Osama, last time a democratic President had a sniper team on Osama it was Clinton, and Clinton basically said let him live what's the worst that could happen. So he needed to not look like another Clinton, that and he knew if he killed Osama he could say it during the election in an attempt to get votes.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election
Swing state exit polls are the most useful source of prescient analysis, and even then they have the issues that polls face of sampling, representation, and such.
As stated, though, obviously either Obama or Romney will win; third parties are non-factors excepting influence over campaigns and possible split of votes.

This is the part that annoys me. When did the democrats and republicans gain so much power that you need to register as one party or the other in order to vote?
