Sonic Boom

Ok, so the Sonic Boom designs got revealed.


There's more...the final game in the Sega/Nintendo exclusive deal is actually based on this cartoon, and will be a prequel to it. It's also called Sonic Boom.



Sega is actually bringing back other playable characters.

Instead of Sonic Team, Sega is working with Big Red Button on this game. Big Red Button is a studio with a lot of ex-members of Naughty Dog.

Looks like some kind of Sonic Heroes teamwork going on lol.

Forgive my skepticism, but I'm not too excited for this. Then again, I was never fond of Sonic and my last experience with him was Sonic 06.

Sonic 06 leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth. lol

I loved it up until Silver's campaign. Me and a buddy speedran that shit and laughed our ass off every time it showed its quality.

Once it hit Silver, though, it just got frustrating.

That ball puzzle, eh?

Yeah, but not just the ball puzzle. Something about him just make the entire game grind to a boring-ass halt. He was like the personification of the loading screens.

Ok so...turns out that Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is literally the next Sonic 06.

Sega legit allowed Big Red Button to release this game in the glitchy game-crashing state it was in. Sega actually repeated the same mistake they made back in 2006. How does a company do something that stupid? How does Sega consistently make stupid decision after stupid decision, and still even exist as a company? Good lord, I just can't even.

With that being said, the actual show is pretty decent.

Was it that bad?

Yeah. Those vids I posted only scratch the surface. The game also constantly crashes.
