Family Guy needs to stop limping to their block with shit episodes or put Seth back in charge, they've put out a couple decent ones lately but damn they can't keep a decent episode going without doing something to leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Several different things, used to be the jokes were funny, may insult someone but at least they had facts behind them and you couldn't really argue with the truth.
Now they have the infamous no war before religion joke
the episode where Meg finally told everyone off thus giving the writers an excuse to write her out of the show since they admit they can't write a teenage girl and then they send everything back to normal. I mean really half their jokes anymore are insulting and abusing Meg.

I love Family Guy.

First episode of newest season was horrible , lol when they ate that frozen kid..Honestly it wasn't funny it was weird ...

Now when peter ate joes legs , now that shit was hilarious ..lmao good ol times...

I do, I wish we could go back to something like that just being a funny gag based on the situation.
I mean the everest episode was fairly good, they were doing a dramatic episode....then they had to go and have the Griffins eat the damn frozen kid, have Stewie lampshade that they ate him first instead of the dog, and after they save the kids parents Peter just goes "we ate your son" and slams the helicopter door. That's not a funny joke, that's sick.
What happened to the Peter that threw money out of a blimp at the Superbowl, and that actually gave a damn about his family. Ever since they made him retarded his character went downhill, they only did that so they'd have an excuse for him to do whatever he wanted.
the first three seasons were mostly golden, but now it's a shell of the great show it used to be. I'd love for it to go back to the days of the first three seasons.

I actually liked the "we ate your son" line. The episode was wrapping up and it was going the route of a happy ending, and I found myself wondering how they were going to bring it up. Then he just throws it in their face out of nowhere.

But the episode as a whole was pretty forgettable.

Hoping to start a barfight, so..... I love American Dad.

*cricket noises*

I like American Dad well enough, better than Cleveland Show but worse than FG for me.

American Dad is my favorite of the.... I don't know what to call them, but I feel like they should have a title.... The MacFarlanes? I dunno.... American Dad is my favorite though.

Also the Screams of Silence episode with Quagmires sister being abused.....that episode was an absolute piece of crap. The worst part was Joe saying he couldn't do anything legally. The second he saw her get hit he was legally able to blow her husbands brains out or beat the crap out of him and arrest him. Or Lois and Peter and Quagmire could be used as witnesses. The second Quagmire told Joe about the abuse he could have arrested him. The only reason that episode lasted 30 minutes was so they could use the jokes they had come up with. That episode's abuse plot should have lasted up till the husband beat her the first time. The episode was not a good attempt at a dramatic episode, I wish I could erase it from my brain.

actually that's what made me think of it, I saw it in the guide, honestly it's the only reason I knew the name.

The fight scenes are pretty good though.

Not really much of a saving grace.

I don't watch the show for the plot, I watch it for occasionally funny retarded jokes, so the episode was meager at worst. It had a couple jokes that made me chuckle and a few that made me laugh on the inside, so it did it's job, though I agree that the earlier episodes were much, MUCH better.

I don't remember that episode too well, I know I saw it though. But if it's got abuse jokes I'm all in

It's hard for me to enjoy the episodes jokes if I can't even stand the episode.
And there's nothing funny about spousal abuse.

It can be, for me anyway. Not the act itself per se unless the victim is fat and falls down a lot. But jokes about it have the potential to be good in my book.
