    So in NV I got -tons- of mods, like 20. Some little things like golden 9mm and some sunglasses/suits to some of the bigger things like face remodels (since game is 4+ years old) and weather system.

    Also got no ban for gambling, no companion limit, like 5 modded companions (who all are fully-voiced and have their own quests). Then there's a bunch of created quests that add multiple hours of gameplay. I can now manage the lucky 38 casino and the Primm one, which will also earn me money. And then there's a quest chain where I help reinvigorate a sex and drug business called Lolipopz. And then the most downloaded quest mod is an expanded bounty hunting storyline. I figure I'll get a posse of 3-4 human companions and do that.

    Only real downside is that a lot of NV mods don't use the mod-manager so for someone like me that isn't tech savvy, manually changing files and what not seems risky. Skyrim was made after the mod manager was out so pretty much anything can be clicked and auto-installed with it. But everything I have at the moment was used with the manager so I'm still getting a lot of use.

    from what I could find just a few, one was a companion mod (he was scaled down) and then a model for other modders to use.

    They do have this one though

    So after probably 10 restarts and tons of downloading/deleting mods I finally settled on a setup

    first, smokeable cigarettes:

    Also got a combat enhancer that highlights enemies (pretty good distance) with different circles, the purple ones are dead obviously. But there's green, red, white, etc. Not super necessary but just seemed cool, and it helps from time to time:

    then the only weapon I use is a stark trek phaser mod, and I build crit damage. It does decent per shot and has a nice firing speed. I just liked it because it was sleek, but it's a lot better than some of the big laser gun mods I tried:

    yeah same here, I'm not into the show but I tried out so many other energy weapons. There's a cool Gauss Revolver, there's a heavy laser, an alien plasma beam. While some of them were okay looking with the armor they lacked in damage or were too slow, etc. Then I saw the phaser so just decided to give it a try and it's pretty slick. Not really -that- OP, but it works well with all the shielding I have

    no clue, there's like 3000 weapon files on the nexus.

    From what I've downloaded? Probably the phaser, fast fire rate and high damage, a crit will one-shot most everything in Normal difficulty.

    But there's magnum guns or whatever pistol model that shoot Fat Men nukes. Also those giant robots look OP.

    Nice, though I think Bethesda would have been wise to save that reveal for E3, but eh.

    So it looks like a sequel to Fallout 3, or a prequel maybe. You can see the Washington Monument for a bit, so that pretty much confirms the game takes place in the Capitol Wasteland again.

    Also, Fallout: Now With Color. lol

    i think it's boston, you can see the massachusetts state house at around 2 minutes

    i hope it's not a prequel though, although since some of the narration is taking place -right- before the bombs drop it might be. if it is going back to the capitol wasteland though, a prequel would be even less appealing

    it seems like i was seeing "Fallout 4 Boston" just a few months after New Vegas' release.

    but i guess i'm a frequent visitor of the Fallout 4 wiki so mayhaps the timeframe has blended together.




    what are you looking to see in it, and how do think Three Dog will be involved?

    Depending how far before/after this game takes place from FO3, I wouldn't expect to see any FO3 characters in the game, aside from maybe some references.

    The biggest thing I'd like is a more Skyrim-like leveling system. I was disappointed that FO3's leveling capped at just 20.
