Yeah, he basically has a 100% guaranteed aerial combo setup after using his down throw to people at lower percentages, plus banana shenanigans.
This video here gives you an idea of how deadly Diddy can be in the hands of a tourney level player.
As for me, I've fought some Diddy's online and held my own well enough with my Link and Ness. I won and lost against them about 50/50 I'd say. Although none of those players were like the Diddy in the video.
One time, I fought a Palutena user online who just absolutely fucking wrecked me. I'm talking a full-on 2 stock win and I barely did over 10% damage to her. Just effortlessly tossing me around like he was maining Palutena his whole life. Didn't even get a rematch either, the dude just left to go find more bootys to plunder after that. I mean, this guy's Palutena could probably hang with the likes of some of the tourney pros. Hell, that might have even been a tourney player, too bad I never read the guy's username. I was using Kirby, by the way. lol
