I liked how it alluded to somebody manipulating things behind the scenes again.

Oh you have no idea, the plot of that thickens Avengers movie end credit scene style (the Thanos one) in Cold Days, there's something big....something very big pulling the strings...and Dresden gets it's attention.

Hopefully I get to Cold Days.

I'm more then halfway done with the series now at least lol.

Oh you will, it only gets easier from here, besides you have something to read till the new one comes.

What's the next book going to be called?

not 100% sure but working title is Skin Game, also Nicodemus will be back in this one. Just like he is every five books.

So needless to say, Nicodemus will at least be equally as prepared for the trouble Dresden will bring upon him as Dresden's gonna need to be against Archelone, right?

I like how they brought back a character from the very first book. I'd completely forgotten about that Beckett lady until now lol.

You'd be surprised the kinds of things you forget about that get used in later books during this series.
