I think the later gens Arceus was bored as fuck and the other legendaries thought he was a bitch so he made a shit ton of new pathetic ones that liked him

it always reminded me of an old kung fu master the way it carries that root staff around, so fighting flying does make sense.

Slyveon is supposedly going to be a brand new type, Fairy type....
It's also rumored to be weak to posion types and steel types (thanks to the Dresden Files, I know why Steel>Fairy types would make sense lol) and have an advantage over ice types and fighting types (I think fighting types, but I definitely remember the part about ice types).
